Derek Sivers is one of my favourite people.
He’s a former entrepreneur who sold his music business for $22 million. He now spends his days writing, coding, and hanging out with his son.
On his /now page, I noticed he’s got a new project he’s working on:
Basically, it’ll keep your personal website alive for decades after your death.
Sounds kinda morbid, I know, but it’s actually ingenious.
It’ll maintain your digital legacy so that:
- Your website stays online at its original URLs
- Future generations can still read, cite, and link to your work
I can’t wait to see it launch!
Derek’s going to let me know when it does.
Check it out.
