I’ve paused all creative projects
I found myself committing to projects just to feel busy.
Eurghh.
So I’m trying the opposite for a while. I’m pausing all my creative projects. I haven’t written on Medium in months, I gave up on my daily blog, and I haven’t done much football commentating this season.
I occassionally wind up typing article ideas into Notion, which makes me realise how much of my identity is still tied to writing.
I don’t know what all of this means.
It just feels weird, I guess.
Planning a trip to Panama
Me and my girlfriend are flying to Central America next Spring to visit Tim’s Club.
I’ve supported Tim’s Club since May 2023, so I can’t wait to visit. Louise and her husband, Nathan, are building something truly wonderful.

Debating #vanlife
Christian Schaffer never ceases to inspire me. Her van life videos are epic. And I recently read about Brandon who lived & worked on Google’s Bay Area campus is his truck for years.
All of this has got me thinking. Why can’t I do the same?
It’s something me and my girlfriend are thinking about. We’re probably going to rent a fully-stacked van for a week and travel around Scotland to see if it’s for us.
We’ll soon find out.
